The Natural Running technique has completely changed my experience as a runner. I have a heightened awareness as I strive to achieve the short steps, high cadence, and proper foot placement of Natural Running, turning my runs into a sort of meditation with the added benefit of increased speed and efficiency. As someone who had a serious leg injury in the past, injury prevention is a huge concern of mine. Natural Running removes the impact to the ankles, knees, hips, and lower back that often lead to pain and injury.
